Rid your skin of unwanted blemishes such as: Skin tags, moles, warts, vascular lesions
or any other skin outgrowth in a minimally-invasive manner. Advanced Women's Health Center now has a revolutionary device that utilizes cosmetic radio-surgery
to quickly and easily remove unsightly blemishes. This treatment yields superior results when compared to other electronic devices that commonly cause scarring
and hypo or hyper-pigmentation. When compared to traditional laser treatment, our treatment produces similar results without the intense pain, bruising, or
high treatment costs.
There is a better way! Cosmetic radio-surgery utilizes very low levels of Radio Frequency (RF) and DC currents simultaneously to electro coagulate the vessels
without desiccating surrounding tissue thereby permanently removing blemishes. This treatment is self-limiting and vessel- specific, resulting in a minimal
skin reaction. Cosmetic radio treatment energy does not adversely affect the dermis, cause scarring or produce any other major negative reaction.
The treatment is great for removal of:
- Moles
- Warts
- Skin Tags
- Blemishes
- Cherry Angiomas
- Unsightly Skin Bumps
- Broken Capillaries
- Spider Veins
Advantages of cosmetic radio-surgery:
- No Bleeding
- Warts
- No Scarring
- No Pain
- No Post-Operative Swelling
How long does the treatment take?
Most blemishes are successfully removed within seconds. Depending on the number of capillaries, most conditions can be successfully and permanently treated in one or
two 10-15 minute sessions.
Is skin penetration by a needle necessary?
No! A non-invasive sterile probe is placed on the skin surface above the vessel to be treated. There is no pressure or penetration of the skin during treatment.
How is the non-invasive procedure done?
The surface of the skin is cleansed and prepped. A fine tipped sterile probe is placed on the surface of the skin. Low level RF and DC current is passed through the
probe to the vessel. The blood in the tiny vessel is clotted or coagulated and stops flowing. With the proper post treatment care the vessel is naturally absorbed into
the surrounding tissue. Typically, within three to four weeks the blemish disappears permanently.
What about post-treatment care?
This treatment electro coagulates each tiny vessel causing the blood to stop flowing. Extra care must be taken to disturb the treated vessels for 24 hours. With proper
care, the treated vessel will tend to look darker the next day. This is normal and a good sign that the vessel was properly and effectively treated.
What are Vascular Blemishes?
Broken capillaries and spider veins are classified as "telangiectasias". There are many different names associated with these lesions. The aesthetic term, "couperose
skin" refers to dilated capillaries. Capillaries under the eye or around the nose as well as the on neck or upper chest are vascular blemishes that are treatable.
The round red dots are sometimes called, "blood moles" and can appear nearly anywhere on the body.
How long does the treatment take?
Most blemishes are removed within seconds. Depending on the number of capillaries, most conditions can be successfully and permanently treated in one 10 to 15 minute treatment.
How did I get vascular blemishes?
Heredity seems to be the most popular theory. It is noted that those with fair skin have a higher incidence of telangiectasia, while more olive type complexions have few problems.
Other contributing theories include: Age, hormones, sun exposure, alcohol consumption and other predisposing medical conditions. Trauma to the skin may also cause telegiectasia to
develop. Whatever their origin, these vascular blemishes can be removed easily and permanently without the use of a laser.
No more hiding! All those little annoying things can be eliminated with little to no down time.
Skin Tags - What are They?
Skin Tags are a small tag of skin that may have a stalk (a peduncle). Skin tags may appear on the skin almost anywhere although the favorite locales are the eyelids, neck,
armpits (axillae), upper chest, and groin. They are harmless and do not become cancerous or malignant.
Can they be removed? Yes! Skin tags, no matter where they are located on the body, can be treated within minutes. The skin tag is treated at, and around the base of the tag with
the probe and usually fall off within 3 or 4 days.
Is the procedure safe?
Extremely. Typically, these small blemishes are superficial and can be treated with a sterile, disposable probe. Electro-coagulation has been used safely for years to remove
vascular blemishes.
Does it hurt?
Some experience a "pinprick" sensation that can be mildly uncomfortable. However, when a topical anesthetic cream is applied to the area the skin, discomfort is lessened and
very tolerable.
